Assisted Living Visits

Sometimes, there are obstacles to coming into a medical office, but help is still available. Our elderly patients who have no resources to commute to our office or whose mobility is restricted and who are residents of an Assisted Living facility may qualify for our brand new "Doc for you" program, through which we are able to offer a visit to the Assisted Living Facility. You can register your name in a Visit Request List, and once the number of patients in a particular geographic location meets the threshold, we are able to visit that location to see all the patients in the particular region. Most of these visits will take place either on a Tuesday or a Thursday. Please call our office to register your name in our "Doc for you" program, or for more information.

Read me!

Hear Me!

Prayer: Astoma Sadgamaya!

Lead me from untruth to truth
Lead me from darkness to light
Lead me from lifelessness to a new life
Help me to find the divine, find peace within myself

Prayer : Vishwadhara Vinayaka

The more we know, the more we know that there is a lot more to know. It's only after the image from the James Webb Telescope that we know how vast our ignorance is. Rheumatology is one of the branches of vast and infinite medicine. At JSRHealth, we're open to new possibilities and hear you out!

Let the Music Heal!

Sanghachhadvam Samvadadhvam Shloka from Rig Veda

Music can be very calming and healing. In ancient times, music was also used as a type of therapy. Sometimes, learning certain sounds and pronouncing them creates certain vibrations in the body that have a very calming effect on us. Listen and sing to the tunes!

Festival of colors! Holi song!

Did you know music has an immense power of healing?

This is an old festival song from a movie.

Beautiful depiction of love!

Love is within us.

Blessed are those whose heart is full of love. Feel the magic!

Hatred has never done any good to anyone.

Love has that power that can make a suffering feel like a blessing and each moment becomes blissful, no matter what.

FAQ

Please reach us at (832) 295-9186 or email us at [email protected] or [email protected] if you cannot find an answer to your question. We also offer payment plans and installments to make it easier for our self pay patients. Please call our office to find more about it.

Rheumatologists often do chart biopsy to clinch the diagnosis. That being said, any previous rheumatological records are very valuable even if those are labs or X-rays or done several years ago. At your initial visit, please bring the following with you:

  • Current medication list including prescription and over the counter drugs along with accurate dosage and frequency of intake
  • Previous history of medications that were tried and stopped due to inefficiency or side effects
  • Previous labs or X-rays/ Ultrasound / CT / MRI. We try to request records from your other providers but oftentimes the request may get lost in the communication process despite best efforts. It helps a lot if you have a copy of your records that you can bring with you.
  • Allergy History and the specific reaction that happened with the medications
  • Family history of rheumatologic or autoimmune disease in any blood relatives
  • Smoking or alcohol history
  • New patient form listed at the bottom of the page OR complete the online questionnaire that is sent to you with the appointment reminder.
